Today, the Showy Lady Slippers are in full bloom in the Burnt Lands. It’s a real treat to see them. Unfortunately, they like swampy, decaying conditions that are difficult to access. Maybe that’s a good thing. I took these pictures and many more this afternoon when Bev and I took a walk in the woods behind our place.
